Chirstmas Caroling through Sherwood Forest

Start your Christmas Holidays off with some caroling among your neighbor friends.
Last year was our first year of caroling, we met at the Jensen’s. On the front porch we had a chance to visit and warm up with drinks and goodies before we headed out.
We were led by Mrs. Buchanan (our ”resident music teacher :0) ). She made up music sheets for us all, led us in our singing, and helped the kids up to the door to present our listeners with their ornament gift.

We have been residents in Sherwood Forest since “about” 1974 and we are original owners. We still live in the house we bought when it was newly build and plan on staying here until we go to “The Home.” During the years since 1974, we have observed a few things that might be considered interesting history of this neighborhood and have been asked to write about them.                            Continue Reading »
